A man recklessly assaulted passing children

In Kurchatov, Kursk Oblast, Russia, a 55-year-old man, under the influence of alcohol, assaulted a 4-year-old boy, mistaking him for a sculpture in a store. The child's father quickly intervened, knocking the man to the ground. Following the incident, the man, upon being arrested, claimed that he mistakenly thought the boy was a plastic sculpture.
