Feeding wild animals, including wolves, along certain roads in Qinghai is not uncommon. In addition to wolves, there have been instances of feeding wild animals such as brown bears. Wildlife experts emphasize that the natural ecosystem functions as a complex food chain, and the life and death cycle, as well as natural selection, are inherent principles. Human intervention in the survival rules of wild animals is inappropriate and may lead to adverse consequences.

Reporters have observed online videos depicting instances of wolves begging for food and people feeding wild animals. In July of this year, Ms. Kong posted a video claiming to have encountered a begging wolf while driving through Hoh Xil. She got out of her car and fed the wolf with beef jerky intended for her pet dog.

This act has garnered widespread attention and discussion. In an interview with the media, she mentioned that the wolf appeared emaciated with disheveled fur, seemingly having gone without food for a long time. Her decision to feed the wolf was driven by compassion for the animal. However, she also cautioned against imitating such feeding behavior, acknowledging the potential dangers associated with interacting with wild animals. Meanwhile, in early October, a video surfaced on social media showing tourists feeding multiple brown bears at a scenic spot in Qinghai. The uploader claimed that the brown bears frequently visit the village in search of food, describing the relationship between locals and brown bears as 'harmonious.'
